Back then and today

200 years ago already, the Altwirt was a popular stop for travelers, farmers, craftsmen and tradesmen. Numerous generations of innkeepers were taking care of the well-being of their guests. In the year 2000 the Vogl family acquired the old Altwirt property and initiated the construction of a new building in the style of the former building. Eventually, since 2003 the original purpose of the Altwirt – board and lodging – is being continued in a passionate manner. At the same time, the guests’ present-day requirements and needs are given top priority, of course.
